this is so fucking cool. i think i must have driven through Utah (christa, do you remember? on that trip with bob boster?), but I have no specific memory of it so i'm not sure and didn't mark it as visited. (red states are visited.)

yes, we went through utah. we definitely drove through kansas, then utah and on to reno, nevada.
it was the only time i've ever been in salt lake city. i remember seeing huge tracts of white dirt.... salt!

yes, kans-ass. misery. nevada. i definitely remember those! maybe i was sleeping a lot in utah.
ok, map has been appropriately modified.
looking at it, i'm really starting to wonder if i drove through connecticut once. i know we went out to cape cod, and i know we went through rhode island... it seems like we must have gone through CT to accomplish that, unless we took a very circuitous route.

i have a nyc friend who has ALSO never been to CT (though she's been to MA and RI), so it's totally possible to have skipped over the state entirely. i mean, there's not much there.
