that's better-ish...
so it turns out that getting drunk with jason and having an explicit, detailed sex conversation with sylvia in the studio while poor jason tried to do his radio show was apparently what i needed to lift my spirits. go figure.
of course, physically i feel like crap now, but emotionally, i feel slightly better.

listen, next time you eat at federal you've got to try the MEAT! good GOD, it's good! the carnitas will life your spirits when a sex conversation is nowhere to be found...

actually i did have the grilled chicken sandwich and it was rockin' good. i love too that you can get the most wonderful salad instead of fries-- yes i actually wanted salad and not fries!
i was intrigued by the green bean salad on the specials board as well...

we had the green bean salad as an appetizer. lightly cooked (still crisp) green beans, red & green peppers, and cilantro in a very light dressing. oh, and some toasted hazlenuts, too! dee-lish!

They had great specials last week too. Smoked chicken with sweet potatos and black beans, green curry vegetables...
But I agree the carnitas are the most amazing
