RadCat pt. 2
It's official: my cat is radioactive.
I don't like medical stuff, so I was pretty anxious this morning. I also don't like being home without my cat there, so I was kind of sad, too.
Something nice happened, though-- just as I arrived home from dropping him off, the mailman came with an imp of BPAL's Snow Moon, a swap I made last week. It always cheers me up to get a little BPAL in the mail.
Anyway, they called just now and said he's fine. I had to laugh-- heartily-- when the nurse said "He got a little bit angry with us so we had to give him a little gas..." I totally forgot to warn them that he hates vets. My vet is so used to it and to me it is just normal for a cat to go on the attack with a vet. Oops. I did tell her I wasn't surprised by that at all.
Apparently now he's sitting in his cage with his legs crossed in front of him, as he always does, looking very calm and pleasant. "He has such a sweet face..." she said. "And then when we opened his carrier, he was like, RRRRR!" heh.

When does RadCat get to come home? (That sounds like a superhero. He needs a little kitty utility belt!)
Am I remembering correctly that Snow Moon is one of those super rare, prized scents like Blue Moon? What did you have to swap to get it? And how do you like it?

he should get to come home thursday. i'm taking the day off that day so i can hang out with him once he gets home, make sure he's ok.
snow moon has not reached super-rare status, it's too new. it was from late last year. i think i skipped buying it because the first several notes are all floral. but i read reviews of it recently, and realized it might be up my alley. i actually like it pretty well.
i swapped 3 GC imps that were each a little low.

What special powers will he have?

Hey, I'm glad it's going well for Moses! Mr. Gomez pees on the vet tech's shoes whenever they pull him out of the cage. Maybe Moseman should try that next time ...

thanks, lisa b!
phil, moses already has super powers.

Go, Moseman, go!
I have a 5 ml of Snow Moon that I don't want. It didn't work well on me.

i'm winning an ebay auction for snow moon right now-- but if i don't get it, i may take you up on that.
did you wait through the pine phase to the more subtle phase? it changes radically a little while after application.

There was a note I didn't like that remained present all day. The scent changed for me, too, but the one note remained.
I've noticed inconsistent auction results on eBay for it -- sometimes one will start at $7 and no one will bid, but I've seen it starting at $12 and getting bid up, too. Weird. Last week I finally won another bottle of Flower Moon so I can start wearing it more often. It's definitely in my top three scents of all time.

right now the auction is at $15 and it ends tomorrow. hopefully no one else will bid. $15 is fair; it's about what the seller would have paid for it originally.
what else is in your top three besides Flower Moon?
