trying to remember my gmail account name

i have a gmail account. of this i am fairly certain.

no where in my saved mail is there a record of the account name i chose.

i have tried the forgotten password link on the following:

[redacted]

i have-- apparently-- sent password change messages out to a variety of people who are not me.

i am somewhat at a loss.

if only gmail allowed me to look up my account by my other email address!

Your gmail account is "spacepod". Of this, I am sure.

i have no idea who the hell you are, but you fucking rock.

just so y'all know, i still have no real plans to USE said gmail account for everyday mail so don't be sending stuff to it 'less you don't want me to see it for months at a time. and why would you do that???

I realized the other day that I have like..TEN fake email accounts. The accounts are real, but they don't have my name on them and receive no mail. I'm proud of myself for remembering what they are and the passwords, though. I should just let them go, but the idea that I might be able to use them for something is so tantalizing that it's difficult just to rely on my three "real" addresses.

at work over the years i've accumulated a lot of email accounts-- one or two on a half-dozen different operating systems.

outside of work, i do have many accounts but try to keep things simple for my friends and mostly just use two.

the gmail account i decided to try and use for the diesel-vanagon mailing list, which is pretty prolific these days, but is something i don't need to read at work. (we are not allowed to access any web mail clients at work.)

ok, so a) your comment won't post right away because i have to approve it first and b) you might get a server error but your comment probably posted anyway and c) previewing doesn't work so i've removed the preview button.
