MY EYES MY EYES
Well, my inner eyes. Actually - i can't imagine this, which is really good.
And in a similar, food-network-related moment, I was in a book store, saw the cover of the following book out of the corner of my eye, and thought, did I really just see that??
It turned out that I had. Jason couldn't believe it either when I showed it to him.
If you don't know what it references... you don't want to. Really.

I'm pretty sure the "two dudes" were challengers on Iron Chef America once and might even have had a show of their own on Food Network for a minute-and-a-half. If it is them, they're caterers from LA w/ lots of tats and "rock & roll" attitude. I can imagine the title coming from them but I can't believe the publisher signed off on it.

you're correct, they challenged Cat Cora, referred to her as "the hottie" and it was most satisfying to see her wipe the floor with their assess. then they had their little show "two dudes catering" which featured them squabbling with each other mostly, in the one episode i saw.
my guess is that whoever signed off on that title had no idea what it references and they think they've pulled one over on their publisher.
