Char-Grill in Durham

yes! there is now a char-grill in durham, and tonight we ate there.

things that are the same:

things that are different, and therefore heretical and wrong:

it's over by woodcroft, and it's in durham, so i'm sure it will be populated by people who have no idea what the char-grill is. but that's okay. the guy at the window i talked to worked at the original store for three years and i've decided that he's okay.

Wow -- I was just in that neighborhood for lunch (at the expanded City Beverage) but I didn't smell it. Will try the fries soon.

The Char-Grill in Cary is the same way, which suggests that non-canonical versions now outnumber the original. Whatever that means...

i need to follow up and note that i think they put MSG in the burgers at this location, and that i think they do NOT do that at the original and the edwards mill locations (both owned by the main char-grill owners).

i woke up in the middle of the night, thirsty, couldn't sleep and i can still taste it. ugh.

ok, so a) your comment won't post right away because i have to approve it first and b) you might get a server error but your comment probably posted anyway and c) previewing doesn't work so i've removed the preview button.
