whoa.
Just saw a preview for Linklatter's movie rendition of PK Dick's A Scanner Darkly.
It's rotoscoped, like Waking Life was, except that the rotoscoping effects are much, much better. Very, very, very cool-- I cannot wait.

i remember seeing some stills from this a few months ago. it showed up on boing boing i think. my assumption is that one of the reasons linklater does studio movies like 'school of rock' and 'bad news bears' is to help finance stuff like 'waking life' and 'a scanner darkly'
