snow days are good for watching too much james bond.
so when brosnan is retired as bond, i'm hoping that clive owen gets the role. you know-- the guy who was in croupier. (he crops up in gosford park, as well.) partly because i really like him, and think he completely has the look and the manner (the guy looks better in a tux than chow yun fat ), but most of all because he looks just like my favorite bond, george lazenby.
although, come to think of it, chow yun fat would make a fantastic bond. i mean, hong kong was a british colony-- why not?

While I love Chow Yun Fat, I hate seeing him struggle with English. It seemed like he only spoke about a hundred words in "Replacement Killers"; it was downright embarrassing. He's of course improved dramatically [get it -- dramatically :) ], but I don't know that he'll ever be able to pull off the suavity of James Bond in English.

Oh, and really the only problem with George Lazenby was that he had the misfortune to come behind Sean Connery.

actually, i think lazenby's big problem was that he was stupid! who turns down a contract for a series films when you have no career prior to that?

Clive Owen would kick serious ass.
