i'm still allowed to buy shoes
well, the rest of the world is experiencing wildfires, tornadoes, nor'easters, car bombings, health concerns and employment worries, but here at the charming english cottage o'shoes, we're still focused on... well... shoes.
i'm not allowed to buy clothes now, because i'm losing weight. but i'm still allowed to buy shoes.

Hey -- nice shoes! (And congrats on the steady weight loss if I correctly understand your reporting.)
FYI, on my computer the shoe pix are showing up on the dark side. I'm not sure it's my screen (the rest of the online world seems to be showing up "normally" these days).

yeah, they're a little dark-- my legs look horrible so i think i'll just leave them that way :)

Ironically, I may get to buy shoes again, too, as my new orthotics severely limit the shoes I can wear. I currently have one pair of shoes I can wear to work, but they're going to do something to the orthotics to make them fit into more shoes.
