we're really not going.
so i was driving home from work and this silver beetle passes me, and it's got one of those cute jetsons spoilers and a vanity plate, and i start to fantasize about the caravan passing me or something, and about going out to meet them in knoxville as a surprise, and then i realize...
knoxville is tomorrow. if i were going, i'd be leaving tomorrow.
this realization so startled me that i did something i never do, i pulled out my cell phone and called someone to talk about it. of course, the person i called was the one person who would be experiencing the exact same thing. that would be stephanie. we talked my entire way home.
ah well. i sent my webcams off to a friend who is going, so i'm hopeful that i'll get to watch at least the saturday morning activities (he won't be doing an in-car cam, sadly).

This is really sad, but I honestly didn't think at all about the annual trip until I read this. After reading it though, I couldn't help but feel a little sad. Ah well... Maybe next year.
