I wonder what ingredient is going all powdery on you. Some kind of musk? Do you have a list of all scents that have gone to powder?

yeah, probably a musk. although i had the same experience with 13 as with Snake Oil... I put a small amount on a cotton pad, and could smell powder in it after it dried on the pad. So I think there's an ingredient that is supposed to smell like powder, and one or more that react that way with my body chemistry. in the former case, it's a lighter odor.
Just glancing at my spreadsheet, I can see that Spellbound, Black Rose, and Skuld all have musk listed as a note, so it seems like a very likely culprit.
Obviously, white musk is not a problem.

i've been thinking it was musk going powdery on me, too. i think my first official order is shipping soon, but i ordered it before i knew what worked on me--i hope there's nothing musky! :)

there's a whole thread on the BPAL forums about musk. apparently different kinds of musk smell very differently. The people writing could identify white, red, dark, black, arabian and egyptian musks as all having distinct scents. so maybe it's just one musk that's a problem.

well, on me i know for certain that white musk is not a problem. i suspect that black musk is a problem-- and as for the others, i guess i will figure it out eventually. frustratingly, beth often just puts "musk" in a description.
