dan arrived tonight; actually, he's here right now, he's connected to my wireless network with his ibook, and he may very well be blogging , too :)

we went out to wash the cars and happened to run into tim, shelley, nicky and mark at the car wash. my driveway ripped dan's front grill out partially, but tim says he can pop it back in for him tomorrow morning. whew.

we stopped by the vw dealer to check out the cars. they've got TONS of convertibles as well as hardtop bugs. actually, an incredible number. finally saw a couple of the color-matched tops-- gray on aquarius blue which i like better than i thought i would, and beige on beige.

sadly, sarah has decided she can't leave lina for most of the day tomorrow, so she's not going to participate in the parade after all. however, she is going to meet us for lunch. when i heard about the care lina requires due to her leg surgery, i did wonder if it was going to be ok to leave her so soon. and, as it turns out, it is not.

well. probably oughta hit the hay.
