tonight i slyly planted the idea in christa's head that she should go to nyc with me around birthday-time to go SHOPPING.
maybe other people who like to SHOP should go with us. like, other people who are facing a significant birthday like we are.

i'm totally and utterly down with the idea if we can find 1) cheap housing and 2) cheap flying.
my only problem would be that we would all potentially have different shopping agendas. i have little interest in vintage stores, for instance, and much interest in wide-shoe stores.

i can see the shopping agenda issue, but i think we'll have some points of convergence which we can do together, then we can spin off separately for other things.
i think good research and planning would be key.

Although our shopping agendas would diverge yet again. I'm down with vintage stores, but my number 1 shopping goal is fabric from the garment district.
