work, chores, and bills

it feels like 90% of my waking life is spent on work and chores.

as for bills, i screwed up a fairly important one at some point this year and it came back to haunt me this week. this mistake is going to cost me a bunch of money, and could have had much more dire financial consequences.

so anyway, i think i've fixed that particular bill so i can't screw it up again, and felt inspired to use my bank's online bill paying feature to set up automatic payments for the few bills i can't pay electronically-- because those are the ones i tend to procrastinate on.

it also made me appreciate how disfunctional the "office" aspect of my house is. it's still as crappy as it was when i was an apartment dweller.

i need to finally clean out the back bedroom, paint in there, and set it up to be highly functional. maybe over the winter break.
