winter cocktails
inspired by the peppermint stick cocktail featured on a certain food tv "all star" show, i went searching for a recipe. i found one, and i also, TO MY GREAT HORROR, found this:
Kooch recipe
1 oz peppermint schnapps
1 oz clam juice
Stir ingredients together in a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cocktail onion, and serve.

I think there's a typo in that recipe. It should be "garnish with a cocktail onion and pour down the sink."

i've tried my share of odd drinks over the years but no, i would not even take a sip of this. hell, i wouldn't want to be in the same room as this thing.
