when i take the westy's worn vanagon/diesel badge off, i know i don't want to put it back on.
on the old vw diesel pickup trucks, there's a simple diesel badge that is quite stylish. all lowercase, in a modern, slanting font. now i'd love to just get one of those badges and maybe i will find one at a car show or something. barring that, i'd like to get a badge made that is similar, so today i looked at a bunch of fonts that might look kinda kool as diesel badges.
tell me what you think...

Hard to say about #2 and #3 unless I see the whole vehicle at once. #1 seems perfectly reasonable. Then again, you might hate "perfectly reasonable."

i like options #1 and #3 about equally. last nite i was leaning more towards 1 but this morning 3 seems a bit more stylish. i don't really like 2 -- something about that big tail on the "s" just doesn't work for me

I like #1 best, too. Somehow it fits better than the others with the overall Westy image. And no, I didn't read everyone else's answer before posting. :-)
