status update
i met with the dood and it was good. of course. in person things are different.
to be honest, i am really pretty disturbed at my emotional reaction to both of those things which really, were disproportionate to what was said. i think. this stuff is so damn subjective.

As for the anti-gun people ... am I the only leftie I know who supports the right to armed self-defense? Am I the only person who understands exactly what The Clash were talking about in "The Guns of Brixton?"
Anyway, just ignore them. Most sensible people want to see the Starlite rebuilt witrh or without the gun shop.

yeah, i think i've made my peace with all of this stuff. either that or i've decided against having a nervous breakdown and that lets me let it go.
to be honest, if tom ridge gets to stop the election due to a supposed "terrorist threat", i'm all for the populace arming themselves and i'll let the libertarians lead us to the capitol...
now you know it's a bad election year if i'm saying stuff like that, 'cause normally i identify myself as a pacifist. :)
