it seems wrong
such beautiful snow. and we're going in to work. it makes me very sad.

and cranky. i'd have to say that i'm downright cranky right now, but then i'm operating on a caffiene deficit (decided it was time to cut back again) so that doesn't help.
also just realized that i'll be oncall-- and it'll be an outage weekend-- during christa's party. which means that i can't walk down there, drink my ass off, and safely walk back if i want to. i'll have to drive and stay sober enough to a) drive back and b) fix any problems that arise at work.
arrrggghhh.

well, dave gave me a big speech about "what's going to happen on a saturday night? don't worry about it." which is probably true.
it'd be kinda lame to foist an outage weekend off on a co-worker, i guess.

joe says he's not doing anything saturday, so he'll carry his cell i can call him if i get beeped at the party.
now i just have to figure out a good place to wear the pager that won't ruin my outfit! joe suggested clipping it to my boots, which might actually be a cool idea.
maybe i need a thigh holster... you know, something like what emma peel would have used to carry a knife or a pistol on her thigh.
