i, for one...
my cat is evil and he is trying to take over the world.

j left this afternoon. it was too short of a visit. i gave him chocolates and a scarf i knitted for him. he gave me a heavy chenille throw (tired of the hot pink wool blankets i keep around the living room in winter) and a copy of the zero effect, a movie that we both like.
sadly, my dvd player is so far gone that we couldn't watch it this morning during breakfast without the extraordinarily annoying director's commentary popping on and refusing to turn off. plus the usual difficulty in getting it to accept any commands or actually play without stopping. it's clear now what i should spend that amazon gift certificate on.
i have to wrap things and i guess i want to get a few munchy things for people like chocolates and stuff, but mostly my christmas stuff is ready.
mostly, i'm just being really slack. i'm really bummed that the voyager marathon is over.
