somethingawful reader posts pics of garbage house he shares with his mom.
at least he realizes something is wrong, even if his mum doesn't...
the scary part is that when collectors get started on animals, things tend to get really bad. she's got five parakeets and is looking for a sixth... so i think it's fair to say that she's started on animals.

well, unfortunately somethingawful charges $10 to register to post to their forums, so i won't be adding any commentary to the thread.
i was going to reference some of the articles that have been written about this behavior and point out that the woman does pose a danger to herself and to the animals she's obviously starting to hoard.
the cardboard over the windows and the wall of boxes to hide behind if someone comes to the door are interesting... like a sort of agoraphobia maybe? i wonder what effect exposure on the internet will have?
