August 15, 2004 - "a most excellent land rover"

spotted on 9th street this morning. looked to be in fantastic shape. an id on the year, mr. pinky?

Yep - it's a Series III 88 inch hard top Land Rover. Hard to tell the exact year - they made these from 1972 to 1985. It looks like it's right hand drive from the pictures. So that means that it must have been imported from the UK, which means it must be at least 25 years old. It might be an early 70s Series III because the side mirrors are mounted on the wings, but sometimes people change these, so it's only a guess. :>
The most important things they have fitted are the two towing brackets on the front bumper!
