This was a remnant-- there are at least two other remnants of this fabric. Raleigh fabric outlet store. I'd say this is a strong candidate for the "downstairs" mattress cover. My main concern would be cleanability. I'm very enamored of the notion of plaid because in a VW camper, it's so retro. But looking at the pictures of some of those bold prints I saw at Hancock the first day-- I just plain like those better. The colors are fantastic.
